Description: In episodes 46 through 52, Robert embarks on his “Grand Tour” across the regions of France, marking the culmination of his immersion. Having established himself in Parisian life, he ventures beyond the capital to discover France’s true cultural, linguistic, and gastronomic diversity. This final phase underscores his transition from foreign observer to active participant—one capable of navigating with ease between local traditions and regional social nuances.
Learning Elements: You will consolidate your learning by applying your skills to varied and authentic contexts. Emphasis is placed on adapting to linguistic variations (regional accents and dialects), understanding local cultural identities, and achieving complete autonomy in complex social and logistical situations. You will learn to synthesize your overall experience to articulate your reflections on your own personal journey.
Grammar: Mastery of the advanced structures necessary for crafting complex travel narratives. This includes the fluid command of the imperfect and *passé composé* to structure your storytelling, the precise use of relative pronouns and conjunctions to enrich your descriptions, and the exploration of verb forms that allow you to express hypotheses and retrospective reflections with great sophistication.

Done with the Part 6 episodes? Congratulations! Tu es une star!
Il est temps de rentrer à la maison. There is only one set of audio files for both the textbook and workbook/study guides. Each audio file is used for both. The textbook contains the “script” and reading that goes with the audio file. The Workbook (Manual de actividades) contains the actual blanks to be filled in while listening to the audio file.
The audio is specifically designed to “talk” you through both the textbook and workbook activities. For example, a narrator will say, “Lección uno. Comprensión. Ejercicio A…” and then provide the audio content used to respond to the workbook questions & activities.
3 May 2026:
The Q&A content needed attention. Originally (a long time ago) I included two different sets of questions from various sources. But the questions were redundant, some answers were wrong, and the number of questions was overwhelming. With a little AI help I went through every episode and combined the Q&A sets, grouped the questions, and checked the answers. It took three long, tedious days to complete. I hope you like the results.
